US Box Office Top 10 03/10

It’s all change at the top of the chart this week with the Lion King 3D finally being knocked off the top spot by one of last weeks new entries A Dolphin Tale which manages to swim up from the number 3 spot.

There were 4 new entries in the chart, first off the romantic comedy with Anna Farris failed to make an impact by going into the number 8 spot, doing a little better was Dream House which went in at number 6, doing a little bit better was Courageous which went in at number 5 however the highest new entry went to the cancer comedy 50/50 which hit the number 4 spot.

7 – Abduction – $5.650.000 – $19.139.000

3 – The Lion King 3D – $11.057.000 – $79.652.000

2 – Moneyball – $12.500.000 – $38.469.000

1 – Dolphin Tale – $14.245.000 – $37.516.000

 

There are only 3 movies of note coming out in the US this week, first off we have George Clooney and Ryan Gosling new movie the Ides of March, then there is extremely controversial horror movie that was even banned in the UK The Human Centipede 2 and the final of the new entires and the one that i think will hit the top spot is Hugh Jackman’s new film Reel Steal.
