US Box Office Top 10 – 24-26/02

Last week Safe House managed to claw the top spot for itself however it couldn’t hold on to the top spot for more than 1 week as one of this weeks new entries has taken the position for itself.

4 new films graced the top 10 this week, first off going in at number 9 was thriller Gone, hitting one spot higher at number 8 was comedy Wanderlust from the director of Role Model’s, hitting the number 2 spot is Tyler Perry’s Good Deed’s however it was drama Act of Valor that went straight into the number 1 spot and also taking the highest new entry award.

10 – Arrietty – $4.503.000 – $14.660.000

9 – Gone – (NE) – $5.000.000

8 – Wanderlust – (NE) – $6.600.000

7 – This Means War – $8.500.000 – $33.571.000

6 – Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance – $8.800.000 – $37.832.000

5 – The Vow – $10.000.000 – $103.007.000

4 – Safe House – $11.400.000 – $98.100.000

3 – Journey 2: The Mysterious Island – $13.475.000 – $76.731.000

2 – Tyler Perry’s Good Deeds – (NE) – $16.000.000

1 – Act of Valor – (NE) – $24.700.000

New Releases – Like a few weeks ago this weeks new releases are very small, in fact there are only 2 new films out this week of any note, first off is animated film Dr Seuss’ The Lorax and secondly comedy from the director of the Hangover, Project X.
