US Box Office Top 10 – Mar 30-Apr1

Nothing could move the Hunger Games off the top spot despite one of this weeks 2 new entries giving it a try but ultimately failing.

As said above there were only 2 new entries in this weeks top 10, first off going in at number 3 was Tarsem Singh’s version of Snow White in Mirror Mirror however it was those titans that was back for a second helping this time in the form of Wrath of the Titans.

10 – Journey 2: The Mysterious Island – $835.000 – $98.480.000

9 – A Thousand Words – $915.000 – $16.520.000

8 – Act of Valor – $1.006.000 – $67.750.000

7 – Salmon Fishing in the Yemen – $1.274.000 – $3.171.000

6 – John Carter – $2.005.000 – $66.210.000

5 – Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax – $8.000.000 – $189.600.000

4 – 21 Jump Street – $15.000.000 – $93.100.000

3 – Mirror Mirror – (NE) – $19.000.000

2 – Wrath of the Titans – (NE) – $34.200.000

1 – The Hunger Games – $61.100.000 – $251.033.000

New Releases – 2 new films will be trying to get into next weeks top 10 however one of them is a re-release in 3D, first off is the re-release in the form of Titanic 3D and if this does well i’m going to scream however it’s the 4th cinema release in the series of American Pie films in the form of American Reunion that’s the biggest release of the week.
