US Box Office Top 10 – 06-08/04

Nothing seems to be able to knock the Hunger Games off the top spot despite one of this weeks new entries giving it a good go.

2 new films graced the top 10 this week, first off going in at number 3 is the re-release of Titanic in 3D however it was the 4th entry for Jim, Stifler and friends in American Reunion that was the highest new entry hitting the numebr 2 spot.

10 – Safe House – $581.000 – $124.751.000

9 – John Carter – $820.000 – $67.973.000

8 – Salmon Fishing in the Yemen – $975.000 – $4.639.000

7 – Dr. Seuss. The Lorax – $5.000.000 – $198.200.000

6 – 21 Jump Street – $10.200.000 – $109.577.000

5 – Mirror Mirror – $11.000.000 – $36.473.000

4 – Wrath of the Titans – $15.010.000 – $58.899.000

3 – Titanic 3D – (NE) – $17.650.000

2 – American Reunion – (NE) – $21.500.000

1 – The Hunger Games – $33.500.000 – $302.839.000

New Releases – 3 new films are out this week including one of my most anticipated releases of the year, first off there is action thriller Lockout starring Guy Peace, secondly is the comedy film that nobody wanted The Three Stooges and finally horror thriller film written by Joss Wheadon The Cabin in the Woods.
