US Box Office Top 10: 19-22/04

The Hunger Games reign on the top of the chart has finally come to a end with one of this weeks new entries knocking it off the top spot in a surprising way.

3 new films graced the chart this week, first off hitting the number 4 spot was documentary Chimpanzee, going in at number 2 is the latest drama starring Zac Effron in the form of the Lucky Ones however hitting the top spot and being a surprise to everybody is comedy film from Sony Screen Gems, Think like a Man.

9 – 21 Jump Street – $4.600.000 – $127.066.000

8 – Titanic 3D – $5.000.000 – $52.828.000

7 – American Reunion – $5.200.000 – $48.300.000

6 – The Cabin in the Woods – $7.750.000 – $26.980.000

5 – The Three Stooges – $9.200.000 – $29.355.000

4 – Cimpanzee – (NE) – $10.205.000

3 – The Hunger Games – $14.500.000 – $356.900.000

2 – The Lucky Ones – (NE) – $22.085.000

1 – Think Like a Man – (NE) – $33.000.000

New Releases – A bit of a mixture when it comes to new entries this week, first off is comedy film the Five Year Engagement, next is animated film from Aardman but released by Sony Pirates: Band of Misfits, then there is another action film from Jason Statham in the form of Safe and finally is thriller/horror centred around the finally few days of Edgar Allen Poe, The Raven.
