UK Box Office Top 10
Nothing was going to trouble Prometheus this week despite there being a lot of films released only 2 new movie’s managed to crack there way into the top 10, so with this in mind it will come as no surprise to read that the top 3 movie’s have not changed.
As said above only 2 new film’s made it into the top 10 this week, going in at number 9 was Ben Drew’s (Plan B) directorial debut with Ill Manors however this is very low takings for a movie that was released on more than 190 screens. It was horror film The Pact though that scored the highest new entry going in at a surprising 4th spot taking just under £1 million.
10. The Angels Share – £218.674 – £718.140
9. Ill Manors – (NE) – £256.288
8. What to Expect when your Expecting – £445.141 – £3.198.168
7. The Dictator – £452.175 – £10.584.986
6. Top Cat – £561.793 – £1.936.133
5. Avengers Assemble – £676.678 – £50.338.151

2. Men in Black 3 – £2.533.051 – £15.081.932
1. Prometheus – £3.135.504 – £15.471.936
New Release – There is nothing really of note out this week so i don’t see much change in the top 10 next week however if you do want to go and see something new you have two choices, first off is thriller with a impressive cast featuring Sigourney Weaver, Cillian Murphy and Robert De Niro in Red Lights. The biggest release of the week though is Musical Comedy that feature’s Tom Cruise in Rock of Ages.
