US Box Office Top 10

No doubt was cast over whether Ted could hold on to the top spot for more than a week as it was going up against one of this years biggest films and unfortunately one week was enough for the foul mouthed teddy bear.

3 new films graced this weeks chart, first off going in at a low number 8 was musical; documentary Katy Perry: Part of me, doing better than that and showing that Taylor Kitsch can act is Savages however it was that web slinger Spider-Man that went straight into number 1 with a few day’s extra haul over the rest of the new entries.

10. To Rome With Love – $3.502.000 – $5.621.000

9 . Moonrise Kingdom – $4.642.000 – $26.893.000

8 . Katy Perry: Part of Me – (NE) – $7.150.000

7. Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted – $7.700.000 – $196.020.000

6. Tyler Perry: Madea’s Witness Protection – $10.200.000 – $45.846.000

5. Magic Mike – $15.610.000 – $72.797.000

4. Savages – (NE) – $16.162.000

3. Brave – $20.162.000 – $174.519.000

2. Ted – $32.593.000 – $120.240.000

1. The Amazing Spider-Man – (NE) – $140.000.000

New Releases – Only 1 film of any kind of note is out this week that will be trying it’s best too flush that spider down the toilet in the form of Ice Age 4: Continental Drift.
