UK Box Office Top 10


I really like it when the box office top 10 get’s a bit of a shake up and this week’s chart is one of those weeks with last weeks number 1 Ted finally getting knocked off the top spot however it wasn’t from a new entry but from a film that finally got released in England and Wales.

4 new films entered this weeks top 10, first off going in at a really low 10th spot was British comedy film The Wedding Video, doing extremely well even though it was only open in 36 screen was bollywood film Ek Tha Tiger that managed to hit the number 6 spot, going in at a low number 4 was the huge action ensemble film The Expendables 2.  The highest new entry this week though went to The Bourne Legacy which went straight into the number 2 spot but it was Brave that is this weeks new number 1 with it finally getting released in England and Wales after it spending 2 weeks in the chart thanks to takings from Scottish and Irish cinema’s.

New Releases – If you are a comedy fan then you are in luck with this weeks selection of new releases, first off is comedy remake The 3 Stooges which i think will have a bit of a problem in the UK box office, next up is alien comedy The Watch and your finally choice of the week and i hope to god nobody goes and see’s it is Keith Lemon: The Movie.
