US Box Office Top 10

To say this is a boring week when it comes to the top 10 is one of the biggest understatements of the year as The Expendables 2 has managed to hold on to the top spot for a second week as no new entry could knock it off the top spot.

Only 2 new films cracked this weeks top 10, first off going in at number 10 was action comedy Hit and Run, the biggest new entry went to Premium Rush which went in at number 7 however this is very low for a new film starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

10. Hit and Run – (NE) – $4.675.000

9. Hope Springs – $6.000.000 – $45.000.000

8. 2016 Obama’s America – $6.238.000 – $9.075.000

7. Premium Rush – (NE) – $6.300.000

6. The Odd Life of Timothy Green – $7.125.000 – $27.080.000

5. The Dark Knight Rises – $7.150.000 – $422.188.000

4. The Campaign – $7.440.000 – $64.543.000

3. ParaNorman – $8.546.000 – $28.274.000

2. The Bourne Legacy – $9.300.000 – $85.500.000

1. The Expendables 2 – $13.500.000 – $52.314.000

New Releases – 3 new films will be trying to get your money this week and you have a really eclectic choice, first off is kids film Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure, your next choice is violent thriller/drama with Tom Hardy and Shia LaBeouf in Lawless.  Your final choice is horror film written by Sam Raimi, The Possession.
