US Box Office Top 10

 

This has to be by far the worst weekend this year with nothing be able to move last weeks number one, The Possession off the top spot and it didn’t have very much of a challenge.

Only 1 film managed to get into this weeks top 10 making it a rare thing in the form of The Words which went in at number 3.

9. The Dark Knight Rises – $3.285.000 – $437.849.000

8. The Campaign – $3.530.000 – $79.473.000

7. The Odd Life of Timothy Green – $3.650.000 – $43.007.000

6. Paranorman – $3.830.000 – $45.098.000

5. Bourne Legacy – $4.000.000 – $103.700.000

4. The Expendables 2 – $4.750.000 – $75.417.000

3. The Words – (NE) – $5.000.000

2. Lawless – $6.002.000 – $23.520.000

1. The Possession – $9.500.000 – $33.349.000

New Releases – Luckily for us 2 new films are out this week and both of them are big releases, first off is the 3D re-releases of one of the best animated films of the last 10 years, Finding Nemo.  The biggest release of the week though is the 5th in the Resident Evil series with Resident Evil: Retribution 3D.
