US Box Office Top 10

Taken 2 has finally given up it’s crown as the US box office number 1 and handed it too a film that i had a feeling would take the top spot.

Only 2 new films managed to get into this weeks cart, first off going in at number 5 was Alex Cross which is Tyler Perry’s lowest ever new entry.  This weeks number 1 went to Paranormal Activity 4 however it’s not all good news for the film as it’s the lowest taking debut Paranormal Activity film, showing that fans are now getting a bit sick of the series.

10 – Looper – $4.200.000 – $57.800.000

9. Frankenweenie – $4.434.000 – $28.343.000

8. Pitch Perfect – $7.009.000 – $45.769.000

7. Here Comes the Boom – $8.500.000 – $23.200.000

6. Sinister – $9.030.000 – $31.950.000

5. Alex Cross – (NE) – $11.750.000

4. Taken 2 – $13.400.000 – $105.971.000

3. Hotel Transylvania – $13.500.000 – $119.000.000

2. Argo – $16.625.000 – $43.191.000

New Releases – 3 new films will be trying to fight there way into next weeks top 10, first off is Sci-Fi Action Drama Cloud Atlas starring Tom Hanks and many many more.  Your next film choice is comedy film Fun Size the perfect family film for Halloween (i might be making that up), your finally choice of the week and another film that’s perfect for Halloween is Silent Hill: Revelation 3D.
