Bond is back with a boom
Skyfall the latest James Bond movie has not only enjoyed critical acclaim but it’s also gone and broken a couple of records too boot.
The film opened to the might tune of $32.4m (£20.1m) at the UK box office this weekend making it the second highest opening of any film in the UK just behind Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows.
It wasn’t just down to takings where it broke records as well the film also saw the highest attendance of any film on a Saturday in the UK thus making this the most successful bond film of all time.
In other Bond news Skyfall screenwriter Jon Logan will be back to pen the next two films in the series and that it will be a two-parter that will not be based on any of Fleming stories.
