UK Box Office Top 10

Nothing can seem to dislodge Skyfall from off the top of the chart as it’s spent another week as your number 1 film and has become the first film to ever take more than £10 million each week it has been in the chart.

Despite nothing wanting to challenge Skyfall at the box office the chart still had 3 new films to entertain it, first off going in at a lower than expected number 7 was musical comedy The Sapphires, doing a bit better by hitting the number 4 spot was comedy film Here Comes the Boom.  This weeks highest new entry though went to drama from Ben Affleck, Argo which hit the number 3 spot.

9. Rust and Bone – £154.805 – £549.060

8. Silent Hill: Revelation 3D – £252.406 – £1.661.279

New Releases – Skyfall might now be finally trembling in it’s boots as the only film that can knock it off the top spot will be released into cinema’s from Friday, that film in question is Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.  There are a couple of other little films also released on Friday but whether they go into the top 10 remains to be seen, so if you want to watch something else you have Paul Thomas Anderson’s film The Master and Michael Hanake Amour.
