US box office top 10

Not much of a impactful week when it comes to the top 10 despite it having a new number one as MAM could only hold on to the top spot for 1 week.

3 new films graced this weeks chart and none of them did that well.  First off going in at number 7 is gross out comedy featuring the biggest all star cast formed for a film in Movie 43, hitting the number 5 spot was Jason Statham’s latest film Parker however it was Hanzel and Gretel Witch Hunters which was the highest new entry going in at number 1.

9. Broken City – $4.000.000 – $15.270.000

8. Gangster Squad – $4.200.000 – $39.647.000

7. Movie 43 – (NE) – $5.000.000

6. Django Unchained – $5.005.000 – $146.295.000

5. Parker – (NE) – $7.000.000

4. Zero Dark Thirty – $9.800.000 – $69.904.000

3. Silver Lining Playbook – $10.000.000 – $69.465.000

2. Mama – $12.860.000 – $48.648.000

1. Hanzel and Gretel: With Hunters – (NE) – $19.000.000

New Releases – Not that much too choose from apart from 2 new films.  Your first choice is Sly Stallone’s new film Bullet to the Head and your only new film is Zombie comedy Warm Bodies.
