Well as you can probably guess Iron Man 3 was victorious for the 2nd week despite have a 58% drop in takings and nearly getting knocked off the top spot by one of this weeks new entries.

Only 2 new films made their way into the top 10, first off going in at number 4 was comedy film Tyler Perry Presents Peebles.  This weeks highest new entry went to The Great Gatsby which managed to hit the number 2 spot and took a very impressive $51 million, if it was released any other week over the year then it would of gone in at number 1.

When it comes with new films trying to find their way into the chart there is only 1 film of note and that’s Star Trek Into Darkness, if any film can knock Iron Man 3 off the top it is Star Trek.
