US box office top 10

Well Monsters University managed to hold on to the top spot for a second week however it did have a slight fight on it’s hands from one of this weeks new entries.

Only two films managed to make their way into the top 10.  First off going in at number four was action film White House Down, this is the second film this year that is about the destruction of the white house however it’s rival, Olympus Has Fallen managed to take more than this.  The highest new entry went to comedy film The Heat which went straight in at number two.

New Releases – Two huge films are on offer this week, your first option is the big screen putting for The Lone Ranger starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer, your other new film is the rturn of the minions alongside there owner Gru in Despicable Me 2.
