US box office top 10

Last weeks number one Lee Daniels’ The Butler has finally been knocked off the top spot by one of this weeks new films.

In a bit of a weak chart only three new films tried to shake things up a little, coming in at number nine is the lowest rated film of all time on rotten tomato’s Getaway, hitting the number five spot was Instructions not Included.  This weeks highest new entry and the new number one went to concert film One Direction: This is Us.

New release – it would normally be new releases however only one film is getting a stateside release and that is Riddick.

5. Instructions Not Included – (NE) – $7,500,000

4. Planes – $7,756,000 – $70,844,000

3. We’re the Millers – $12,610,000 – $109,563,000

2. Lee Daniels’ The Butler – $14,742,000 – $74,007,000
