UK box office top 10

It’s not a good time for the box office as of late as this weeks saw a 51% drop on the same time last year, making it the highest drop off of the year so far.

On to the top 10 and there is no change at the top of the chart with last weeks number one Prisoners still holding on to the top spot.

Two new films went into this weeks top 10, in fact they entered this weeks top five.  Firstly going in at number three was the brilliant Scottish musical drama Sunshine on Leith, the highest new entry went to the insane dark comedy drama Filth.

New Releases – again another low key week however there is a lot of new films too choose from, firstly there is comedy Baggage Claim, drama based on Wikileaks The Fifth Estate, insane over-the-top action film Machete Kills, another version of Romeo and Juliet and your final choice is Not Another Happy Ending.
