Well it seems that nothing can shift Gravity from the top spot as it has managed to spend a third week at number one taking just over $170 million so far.

Three new films went into this weeks top 10, firstly going in at a very low number eight was drama The Fifth Estate starring Benedict Cumberbatch, going in at number five was action thriller starring Stallone and Schwarzenegger in Escape Plan.  This weeks highest new entry went to horror remake Carrie which entered the chart at number three.

New Releases – not very much to challenge Gravity in next weeks chart as all you have too go and see is thriller The Counselor and comedy from the minds of Jackass with Bad Grandpa.
