UK box office top 10 – W/E 16/12

It will come as no surprise to hear that last weeks number one Frozen is now no longer sitting at the top of the tree despite it only dropping 10.7% on last weeks takings.

The only new entry in this weeks chart and the new number one went to The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.  The second part of the trilogy opened up just shy of the £10 million mare which is bad news for the film as the first part opened up with over £2 million more.

New Releases – A few new films are out this week in the form of Anchorman: The Legend Continues, Harry Hill hit’s the big screen hard with The Harry Hill Movie and those annoying Moshi Monsters make there big screen debut with there own movie.

Future Releases – As this will be the last chart on the site for 2013 a couple of new films are also out on the 26th December in the form of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and 47 Ronin starring Keanu Reeves.
