UK box office top 10 – W/E 27/01/14

Well despite a few new releases this week none of them could knock the Wolf of Wall Street off the top of the chart as it has spent a second week at number one.

Three new films went into this weeks chart, firstly going in at number seven was dysfunctional family drama August: Osage County, doing one better by going in at number six was the latest film from the Coen brithers Inside Llewyn Davis.  This weeks highest new entry went to spy thriller Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit which managed to find it’s way to the number three spot.

One noticeable absent from this weeks chart is the Stallone/De Niro boxing comedy Grudge Match which failed to make it into the top 10, in fact it could only manage to go into the number 14 spot.

New Releases – another week where we have a few films to choose from, so on offer this week is fantasy film I.Frankenstein, thriller drama Lone Survivor, romantic comedy That Awkward Moment and drama Out of the Furnace.
