US box office top 10 – W/E 23/02/14

Well it seems that everything is staying awesome for the Lego Movie as it remains at the top of the chart this week even though it didn’t have much challenge from any of this weeks new entries.

Only two new films went into this weeks chart, firstly going in at number three was action film Pompeii from director Paul W.S Anderson (Resident Evil).  The only other new entry in this weeks chart went to thriller 3 Days a Kill which went into the number two spot.

New Releases –  Only two new films are released this week that has any chance of getting into next weeks top 10, firstly you have the latest thriller starring Liam Neeson in Non-Stop and your other choice is drama Son of God.

7. Ride Along – $4,667,000 – $123,173,000

6. About Last Night – $7,400,000 – $38,150,000

5. The Monuments Men – $8,100,000 – $58,050,000

4. Robocop – $9,400,000 – $43,600,000

3. Pompeii – (NE) – $10,010,000

2. 3 Days to Kill – (NE) – $12,300,000

1. The Lego Movie – $31,450,000 – $183,160,000
