US box office top 10 – W/E 16/03/14

Well last weeks number one 300: Rise of an Empire could only hold on to the top spot for just one week as last weeks number two Mr Peabody and Sherman has managed to knock it off the top.

Three new films went into this weeks chart, firstly going into the number 10 spot was kickstarter funded Veronica Mars, hitting the number five spot was comedy Tyler Perry’s The Single Moms Club.  This weeks highest new entry went to vidoegame inspired movie Need For Speed which went into the number three spot.

New Releases – Two new films will be trying to get into next weeks top 10, on offer is sci-fi action drama Divergent and the return of the Muppets back to the big screen with Muppets Most Wanted.
