UK box office top 10 – W/E 23/06/14

22 Jump Streets reign at the top of the chart has finally come to a end thanks to The Fault in Our Stars which has gone and taken it’s crown.

Other new entries in this weeks chart include Bollywood film Humshakals which went in at number 10, thriller from McG, 3 Days to Kill going in at number seven and musical biopic Jersey Boys which went in at number six.

New Releases – A bit if a mixed bag of new films this week including one film that isn’t official released in England and Wales until two weeks time however it should be included in the box office takings of next weeks chart thanks to it getting released in Scotland and Ireland, that movie in question is How to Train Your Dragon 2.  Other films out this week include comedy sequel A Haunted House 2, comedy TV spin off Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Movie, drama with a hint of comedy and a smattering of food with Chef, musical comedy Walking on Sunshine and dark drama thriller Cold in July.
