UK box office top 10 – W/E 15/09/14

It was a bit obvious that Sex Tap couldn’t hold on to the top spot for another week and that is the case as animated adventure The Boxtrolls has gone and taken it’s place at the top of the chart and was the only film to take over £1 million this week.

Other new films in this weeks chart included drama thriller starring Phillip Seymour Hoffman in A Most Wanted Mind and British drama comedy centring around the mining community during the mining strike, Pride which went in at number three.

Upcoming – Not a huge week for new releases this week however a lot of smaller films will be trying to chip away at next weeks chart, so on offer is thriller starring Liam Neeson in A Walk Among the Tombstones, British drama The Riot Club, another movie that is trying to take the Hunger Games crown in The Giver and the latest comedy drama from Woody Allen in Magic in the Moonlight.
