Box office top 10 – W/E – 13/10/14

When it comes to the top 10 over the last year we have seen some surprise’s when it comes to the number one spot, we have seen a live event going straight into the top of the chart and now we have another rare treat in the form of the 18 rated Gone Girl spending a second week at number one, the last 18 rated movie to do that was Wolf of Wall Street.

Other new entries in this weeks top 10 included British comedy The Rewrite going in at number nine, horror spin off from the Conjuring with Annabelle hitting number three and post apocalyptic teen adventure film The Maze Runner hitting second place in this weeks chart.

Upcoming – Not a big week for a lot of films, however if your after something new then you have big screen reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the latest film to star Robert Downey JR in drama with a hint of comedy in The Judge.

US Chart

Not only is Gone Girl sitting high at the top of the UK top 10 for a second week but it has managed to hold on to the top of the US chart for a second week.

Three other new films managed to make their way into the top five in the form of The Judge going in at number five, Disney adventure Alexander and the terrible, horrible, no good very bad day at number three and action horror movie Dracula Untold at number two.
