Box office top 10 – W/E 17/11/14

Nothing seems to of been able to move Interstellar off the top spot as it spends a second week at number one despite a bit of a challenge from this weeks highest new entry.

Three new films managed to find their way into this weeks chart, firstly going in at number five was dark thriller The drop which see’s Tom Hardy fighting to protect what he loves.  The second highest new entry went to kids Christmas comedy Nativity 3: Dude Where’s My Donkey which see’s itself at this weeks number two.  This weeks highest new entry though went to the Benedict Cumberbatch drama about Alan Turing one of the fathers of the computer and the person who cracked the enigma code, The Imitation Game which went in at number two.

Upcoming – I doubt we will see Interstellar at the top of the chart this time next week as it has major competition from The Hunger Games: Mockinjay Part 1, the only other new film of note is drama The Homesman starring Tommy Lee Jones.
