2014 Monday Movie Show Awards

2014 mmsa

It’s that time of the year again where we look back over the last 12 months and pick out those films that deserve to be ranked as the best of the best, the Monday Movie Show awards return for a fourth outing however in a slightly different form from previous years.

We hand out the usual awards but change things up a little by handing out our own personal accolades, on top of the awards we also have our usual top 10 best and worst films of the year.

Join us live on Wednesday 17th December at around 8:00pm (GMT) on our Spreaker page or the Spreaker app (which you can download free from the Apple app store/Android marketplace and find us on by just searching for The Monday Movie Show). You can download the show from the brilliant Podkicker on the Play Store (just search for The Monday Movie Show) on it,  or you can now find us on Youtube, just search for (you guessed it) the Monday Movie Show and we are finally back on iTunes just search for the Monday Movie Show and you should find us.

  1. Hi, listened to your show a couple of days ago and have finally gone through my list of 2014 movies. Although I have watched 100 films this past year, only 27 of them were released in 2014. My favorite 10 films are:
    1. Only Lovers Left Alive
    2. The Raid 2: Beranthal
    3. Locke
    4. The Imitation Game
    5. Godzilla
    6. Blue Ruin
    7. Under the Skin
    8. The Taking of Deborah Logan
    9. Edge of Tomorrow
    10. The Lunchbox

I don’t have a list of My Least Favorite films of 2014 because most of them were just ok. The 2 I hated the most though were:
Sabotage: I was bored and didn’t like any of the characters
Transformers: Age of Extinction: Way too long and nonsensical

Looking forward to hearing you guys in 2015 🙂
