Despite a modest drop of 36% from last week The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel has managed to hold on to the top spot for a second week with the film taking a healthy £8.46 million after just 11 days.

Over in the US and Chappie did slightly better however it still failed to hit box office gold after taking a very low $13 million in it’s opening weekend, this still didn’t stop the film from going in at number one and knocking Focus off the top of the chart.
The only other new film in this weeks top five went to British comedy drama The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel which did really well for itself by going in at number three.

5. The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water
