Box office top 10 W/E 26/04/15

It was obvious that Fast and Furious 7 couldn’t hold on to the top spot any longer as it had to fight against the Avengers with Age of Ultron, the film not only went straight in at number one but broke a few records on it’s way.

Avengers: Age of Ultron took an impressive £18 million in it’s opening weekend making it the highest debut opening for any film released in April and the 4th highest opening of any film.

Their was only one other new entry in this weeks chart in the form of event Cavalleria Rustica/Pagliacci – Met Opera which went in at number five.

Upcoming – This weeks see’s the release of 24 films however none of them should be able to cause much of a threat to the Avengers, if you are looking for a new film to see then the bigger films on offer are Skype horror Unfriended, animated kids adventure in Two by Two: Oops… The Ark Has Gone, drama Far From the Madding Crowd and Sci-Fi action sequel Monsters: Dark Continent.

Very tight with this weeks chart however it didn’t stop Furious 7 from holding on to the top spot for another week with only one new movie trying to fight it in the form of drama The Age of Adaline which went in at number three.
