John Matthews (Dwayne Johnson) finds out from his ex-wife Sylvie (Melina Kanakaredes) that his son Jason (Rafi Gavron) has been arrested and charged with distribution after receiving a package containing drugs from one of his friends. Jason, though not a drug dealer is facing a mandatory 10 years prison sentence, but doesn’t know anyone who deals in drugs and refuses to setup anyone else in a similar sting to lessen his sentence.
