UK Box Office Top 10

As predicted last week Madagascar 3 could only hold on to the top spot for 1 week as this weeks only new entry has not just knocked it off the top spot but it has blown it away.

Only 1 new film entered this weeks chart and it went straight into the number one spot (no surprise there) and that film is Skyfall.

Not only though has Skyfall taken the number one spot it has managed to break a few records, first off it’s the highest grossing debut movie of this year beating Avengers Assemble, secondly it was the highest attended film on a Saturday and finally it’s the second highest grossing debut film of all time just behind the last Harry Potter film.
