As said above there are 5 new films in this weeks chart, going in at number 9 was horror remake Silent House, hitting the number 5 spot is the latest action film with Jason Statham in it, Safe, one spot above that is the 3D re-release of Beauty and the Beast, one more spot above that is drama film with Zac Effron, The Lucky Ones however it was the return of the gang in American Pie Reunion that was the highest new entry going in at number 2.

9 – Silent House – (NE) – £214.731

8 – Pirates: An Adventure with Scientists – £318.039 – £15.226.545

New Releases – It’s another jam packed week of new films however i don’t see any of them breaking the top 3, the film with the biggest chance though is Tim Burton’s latest film with Johnny Depp as a vampire in the form of Dark Shadow, then there is over the top horror/comedy with a huge fascination in boobs, Piranha 3DD, Mel Gibson finally returns to the action film genre with How i Spent my Summer Vacation and finally there is comedy/drama Jeff who Lives at Home.
