Trailer: 47 Ronin

The first trailer of Carl Rinsch’s directorial debut of the story The 47 Ronin, with a cast including Keanu Reeves and Hiroyuki Sanada, the movie follows 47 master-less samurai who plotted and took revenge on their master’s killer.

First Impressions: Long delayed by a troubled production involving reshoots and an ever escalating budget, it’s good to see that this looks interesting and may not be a total disaster. Not convinced by the soundtrack on this trailer though, really jarring – hopefully it’s not from the final musical score to the movie. Originally due for release in November of 2012, 47 Samurai is now due for release in the UK on 26th December this year.
