This weeks chart (W/E 24/08/15)

BoxOfficeTopTen1

It was inevitable that Pixels couldn’t hold on to the top spot for a second week as it only managed to get to the number one spot thanks to the inclusion of what it took on previews, the films replacing it though Paper Towns only managed to take the top spot thanks to what it took from previews as well.

If you took what Paper Towns took in previews out of the equation then the film would of only debut in 6th place and Inside Out would of been this weeks new number one.

Their were a few other new entries in this weeks chart, they included the big screen version of the BBC Three comedy program Bad Education which went in at number eight, comedy reboot of the National lampoon franchise with Vacation going in at number seven and horror sequel Sinister 2 which went straight in at number three.

Upcoming – Not a big week this week for new release however if your after something new then there is NWA drama Straight Outta Compton, the reboot of the Hitman franchise with Agent 47 and the Zac Effron comedy We Are Your Friends.

The highest new entry this week though went to event Take That Live which hit the number two spot with takings just shy of £1 million.
