Coming up on this week, in the cinema section Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg team up in action thriller 2 Guns, real superheroes are back in sequel Kick-Ass 2 and Disney takes over from Pixar in the world of card to bring us Planes. In this week’s numerous DVD & Blu Ray releases, Tom Cruise battles to save the future of humanity in sci-fi epic Oblivion, Ed Harris and David Duchovny star in submarine thriller Phantom, Eli Roth presents another tale of grizzly horror in Aftershock, a disturbing true-life scenario plays out in Compliance, we have yet another spoof in Scary Movie 5, Kevin Spacey stars in thriller Inseparable, horror in Sawney: Flesh Of Man, and a live action adaptation of Japanese Anime Space Battleship Yamato, plus as usual our TV movie of the week, the latest movie news, UK box office top 10 & DVD/Blu-Ray top 10.

US box office top 10



Last week A Good Day to Die Hard reigned supreme at the top of the charts, this week however is a different story as not only has it been knocked off the top spot but it has been beaten into a bloody pulp all the way down to number 5.  The film that has taken over it’s crown is last weeks number 2 Identity Theft.

The chart only made way for 2 new films, first off going in at number 6 was horror film Dark Skies.  The highest new entry of the week though went to action film Snitch which hit the number 2 spot.
