Trailer: Safe House

Action thriller starring Ryan Reynolds as an inexperienced agent who has to protect his prisoner, a captured rogue played by Denzel Washington, after their safe house is breached. Also starring Vera Farmiga, Brendan Gleeson, and Robert Patrick.

First Impressions: This might be good, have to admit to being a fan of both Reynolds and Washington, will be interesting to see the two of them face off in this. Safe House is due to be released in the UK on 24th February 2012.

Trailer: Fireflies in the Garden

The Taylor family is devastated by an accident that takes place on the day their matriarch is due to graduate from college —- decades after leaving to raise her children.

A very hard hitting drama that has a big cast including Ryan Reynolds in not his usual comedy/superhero role, Willem Defoe being very angry as usual, Julia Roberts, Carrie-Ann Moss, Hayden Panettiere, Ioan Gruffudd and the usual brilliant Emily Watson.

The movie looks to be one of those films that only people who are interested in hard hitting drama would get something out of it even though it has a very strong cast, but you never know.
