Coming up on this week. in the cinema section it’s another very packed show with no less than four new releases, Logan Lerman returns in Olympian sequel Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters, Johnny Depp teams with director Gore Verbinski, this time also with Arnie Hammer as The Lone Ranger, Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James and David Slade are all back in comedy Grown Ups 2, and Steve Coogan brings to the big screen his most famous character in Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa. On DVD & Blu Ray we review Fede Alvarez’ remake of grizzly horror movie Evil Dead, an all star cast including Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper star in drama The Place Beyond The Pines, Noomi Rapace and Rachel McAdams star in director Brian De Palma’s remake of French movie Love Crime in Passion, and James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez star in controversial drama Spring Breakers, plus as usual our TV movie of the week, the latest movie news, UK box office top 10 & DVD/Blu-Ray top 10.

At the top of this weeks chart nothing much has changed, so that means that The Croods has managed to hold on to the top spot for another week keeping out any new films and the fight from GI Joe.
3 new films entered this weeks top 10. First off going in at number 10 was family friendly Disney film The Odd Life of Timothy Green, doing a little better was OTT film Spring Breakers which managed to hit the number 9 spot and marking a debut into the top 10 for a Harmony Korine film. The highest new entry went to horror film Dark Skies which just managed to get into the top 3 by hitting the number 3 spot.

New Releases – we are now starting to get a few big films and this week we have a couple of new movies for you to choose from. Well it seem’s that the Croods is a much more stronger film that first anticipated as it has managed to hold on to the top spot for a second week despite a bit of competition from one of this weeks new entries.
The top 10 is awash with new films this week, 5 in total. Hitting the number 10 spot is French mystery thriller In the House, one spot above that at number 9 is the 3D re-release of Finding Nemo. Opening the top 5 this weeks was The Host based on a book by Twilight’s Stephenie Meyer’s, going in at number 3 was trippy thriller Trance from director Danny Boyle. This weeks highest new entry went to action (if you could call it that) sequel GI Joe: Retaliation which hit the number 2 spot.
If you are wondering where both Stolen and Welcome to the Punch are well they both fell a huge 86% to take a average screen total of only £250 each.
