On the next Monday Movie Show (08/12/14)

Coming up on this weeks show, in the cinema section we take a look at children’s Christmas adventure film Get Santa, dark thriller starring Jude Law in Black Sea, animated spin off from the Madagascar series with Penguins of Madagascar, comedy drama starring Bill Murray in St Vincent and shaky cam horror film in The Pyramid.  In the home release section of the show, Stallone returns for a third time with his usual macho group of pal’s in The Expendables 3, squirrels attempt to survive by get the ultimate prize in The Nut Job and animation collides with live action in strange sci-fi drama cross over The Congress, plus as usual our TV movie of the week, the latest movie news, UK box office top 10 & DVD/Blu-Ray top 10.

Coming up on this weeks show, in the cinema section we take a look at the adventures of Star Lord, Gamora, Drax, Groot and Rocket as they become Guardians of the Galaxy and animated adventure that’s a bit nut’s in The Nut Job.  In the home release section Blu and his family return for a second adventure in Rio 2, Jack O’Connell prison in Starred Up, Jean Claude Van Damm has to put up with a unruly group of people in Welcome to the Jungle, drama with Labor Day, Kelan Lutz stars in action film The Legend of Hercules, horror film with Almost Human and drama with The Double, plus as usual our TV movie of the week, the latest movie news, UK box office top 10 & DVD/Blu-Ray top 10.

US box office top 10 – W/E 19/01

It’s nice to have a little bit of a shake up when it comes to the top 10 and this week is one of those, last weeks number one Lone Survivor is no longer sitting at the top of the tree, instead we have a new number one in the form of comedy film Ride Along.

Three other new films made there way into the top 10, firstly going in at number seven was horror film Devil’s Due, hitting the number four spot was action thriller Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit and the final new entry went to animated film Nut Job which went in at number three.

New Releases – Only one new film of note is out this week and that’s action horror film I, Frankenstein.
