Coming up this week (25/06/12)

Coming up on this weeks show we review new cinema releases including historical fiction in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, take a journey to the abandoned town of Pripyat in Chernobyl Diaries, and we join an all star cast including Bruce Willis and Catherine Zeta-Jones in Lay The Favorite. In a packed DVD & Blu Ray section we review UK box office smash The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Nicolas Cage returns in sequel Ghost Rider, Spirit Of Vengeance, Jennifer Anniston and Paul Rudd move to a rural commune  in comedy Wanderlust, romance with Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams in The Vow, Charlize Theron is the Young Adult, and David Cronenberg takes a look at the relationship between Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud in A Dangerous Method, plus as usual our look at the latest movie news and the UK Box Office and Blu-Ray/DVD top 10′s.

UK Box Office Top 10 – 05/03/12

None of the new release could knock the woman in black off the top spot how it was last weeks highest new entry the best exotic marigold hotel which managed this feat.

3 new films graced this weeks top 10, firstly going in at number 7 was comedy Wanderlust, doing a little bit better by hitting the number 6 spot was another comedy in the form of Project X however the highest new entry went This Means War going in at number 3.

New Releases – 3 big new films are out this week trying to entice you to go and see them, first off there is Bel Ami which stars Robert Patterson and then we have The Raven which tells the story about Edgar Allen Poe and finally the big release of the week is Disney’s John Carter.

 

UK Box Office Top 10 – 27/02

It seems that Daniel Radcliffe has impressed alot of people for another week with the Woman in Black holding on to the top spot for another week despite stiff competition from 2 of this weeks new entries.

3 new films graced this weeks top 10, first off going in at number 10 was One For the Money, the first film to crack the top 3 was thriller Safe House which hit the number 3 spot however the highest new entry went to The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel which hit the number 2 spot.

New Releases – 4 new films will be trying to entice you to spend your money on them this week, first of is comedy from the director of the Hangover, Project X, then there is action/comedy This Means War, then there is comedy from the director of Role Model’s, Wanderlust and finally the 3rd comedy of the week in the form of Hunky Dory.

US Box Office Top 10 – 24-26/02

Last week Safe House managed to claw the top spot for itself however it couldn’t hold on to the top spot for more than 1 week as one of this weeks new entries has taken the position for itself.

4 new films graced the top 10 this week, first off going in at number 9 was thriller Gone, hitting one spot higher at number 8 was comedy Wanderlust from the director of Role Model’s, hitting the number 2 spot is Tyler Perry’s Good Deed’s however it was drama Act of Valor that went straight into the number 1 spot and also taking the highest new entry award.

New Releases – Like a few weeks ago this weeks new releases are very small, in fact there are only 2 new films out this week of any note, first off is animated film Dr Seuss’ The Lorax and secondly comedy from the director of the Hangover, Project X.
